Hi! Everything at the Riu Playacar was really wonderful. We did not take any of the side trips, and it was too choppy to snorkle, but we went parasailing and truly enjoyed the facilities at Riu Playacar. The staff was terrific, the food was excellent, the rooms were beautiful (clean and well-appointed), the beach was breathtaking, and the entertainment was fun. We also enjoyed shopping in Playa del Carmen; we took $5 cab ride there a few times.... Thank you for all your help! Best, J. G.
