"Dear TripGuy - My wife and I had the best time possible on our trip to Ixtapa. The Melia Hotel is beautiful. The staff very friendly and the service excellent. I gave them a perfect review. After the second day they closed the brand new tower that we were staying in and moved us to junior suite. How cool is that! The 2 restaurants are as good as it gets for any hotel in Mexico. The breakfast buffet is good, the lunch buffet could be better. The dinner buffet changes each nite and is pretty good as well. Drink/waiter service at the pool is second to none. The hotel is a 10 minute taxi ride to downtown Ixtapa. This was no problem for us. We swam with Dolhins at Dolphinium (downtown Ixtapa) $75.00. Went deep sea fishing. Hung out at two different beaches under the Palapas. We would recommend this trip to anyone. You have earned all my future business." Thanks Stuart
