One of the Internet's Best Travel Secrets

Tuesday, 24 February 2009 00:00

Dear Sherri,

The trip was great. I already want to go back! The Contemporary was nice. I thought the room would of been a little bigger, but it was great to be on the monorail line. The restaurants were OK. I don't think we would go with the dining plan again if we went. Probably did not get our money's worth there. My son does not like restaurants, and had a meltdown before we got into the Crystal Palace, so we skipped that one. I liked 1900 Park Fare the best. Coral Reef was OK, not a great place for kids. My son is so picky, he barely ate all week. Chef Mickey's was really good, and so was the Tusker House for breakfast. It was so freaking crowded, I guess because of the President's Day holiday, so a lot of the adult attractions had lines over 2 hours! And fast passes were being given out for 5-7 hours later! The Magical Express and plane trips were perfect, no problems there. The view from the hotel was good, we watched the fireworks every night. The main pool was down for maintenance, but the smaller one was open, which was just perfect for Jimmy. All the employees (everywhere) were really great. The buses to the other parks were so crowded, but then again, everywhere was crowded. But overall, we had a blast and I was sad to go. The kids really loved it. Thanks again for your help Sherri, and I will not hesitate to use you again!  The only thing I would do differently next time is get up early and be there before the parks open to run to my favorite attractions. We did that the last day and it worked great!   Thanks, Alison
