Hi Ruth,
Based on Marcia and I wanting this to be a great family trip, on a scale of 1 -- 10 we would probably rate our cruise on Carnival Glory a 9 or 10.
Just a lot of great memories that I know we will all enjoy reliving over the years, you can't ask for much more than that can you?
I was a little nervous about the weather and when I saw the sky when we landed in Orlando it only increased my concern. Not to fear, these were the only clouds we saw all week. Honestly!
Both of the kids enjoyed their respective age group activities that Carnival put on.
We had great service in the dinning room. As a matter of fact we had spoken before we left that we would probably take one night off and just go casual, but the kids insisted that we go to eat in the dining room because they enjoyed it so much.
Speaking of food, we did do the "fancy" restaurant and it was good. I can see where some might really enjoy it, but to us it was not that much of a treat. I am glad the kids got the experience.
Marcia and I enjoyed the piano bar most evenings and were able to find a couple of very cool places to lie out in all of the SUN! By the way, it was not as hot as I thought it would be. Maybe the storm was affecting it some how, but it was not that big of a deal at all.
I really liked the two days at sea on the back end of the trip. I felt more rested after a cruise than I ever have. I had a lot of quality I pod, book and just plain old staring at the ocean time.
Thank you again for the gifts and all of your help Ruth. You make our sailing on the Carnival Glory extra special for us and we won
