Is Grande Riveria still the best value for the Sandels resort options? What is the preferred or most common mode of transportation from the airport? Taxi? About how much is the costs of ride from airport?
1) Yes – it’s actually better now than it has been after the refurb last year. Upgraded rooms, new beach club area, and lots of new restaurants. It’s really become a nicer resort and still less than any other Sandals due to the number of rooms they need to fill.
2) Sandals includes transfers on all reservations – and 95% of our clients use them. We can also arrange private transfers for those who prefer them.

Dear Sir: I would like to know the difference between a couples resort and a singles resort.
A couples resorts only allows couples on property. An adults only resort allows adults, but allows adult singles, groups, etc. It doesn't just cater to couples and only have double beds.
There really isn't anything that is a pure "Singles" resort.

Sandals STAR Awards 2012

Just arriving home from our trip to Excellence Playa Mujeres....it was amazing!!! Everything was top notch, we couldn't have asked for more.
Lomas was at the airport waiting when we arrived. And THANK YOU!!! For the soda and snacks! The resort was gorgeous and our room was breathtaking!!! I'm not sure if that's the room we signed up for, or if you upgraded for us...but we couldn't have been happier! Every detail was perfect. We are so sad to be home but can't wait to book our next trip with you!

Hi Fayette,
We traveled to Beaches in early April with our 2 kids, ages 8 & 13. We had very high expectations being that it is a Beaches resort that had been recently refurbished. Our room had an ocean view which was great, was plenty big but could of been cleaner. The bathroom didn't look like it had been redone at all but overall, was a fine room with a great view. Neither of our kids went to the kids camp, which I wish they did, but kept busy enough between the water slides and the main pool area. There were lots of kids that ranged from all ages and a large teen group that all seemed to hang together. Had my teenager been more outgoing, he may have had a better time. He's not one to join in on a group he doesn't know. The staff seemed real nice to the kids and most of the wait staff were great. There was a piano bar and an outside bar for adults but really didn't open up until 9;30 or so...by then, I was ready for bed. The evening show started out most nights with awards for the kids...I guess from activities earlier in the day. I found this to be too long and by the time it was done, I didn't feel like sitting there any longer to see what was next. The last night we were there ,they had a beach party with a bonfire and beach games which was a lot of fun. Again, if my older child was more outgoing, he would have had a blast. Overall, a nice hotel but I can't say it was any better than a nice Hilton. For the money, I wanted more. Food was just ok in the main dinning room but the restaurants was great! Towels by the pool were limited, my suggestion, keep the ones from the night before to put on chairs in the morning (if you don't get up super early, forget about getting a chair) and then trade them out when the new towels come out . A good hotel for younger kids and if you want to spend that kind of money.
We booked through TripGuy with Fayette and she was just great. She was extremely helpful and really made the stressful process of planning a vacation so much easier. She answered all my questions and was so professional, giving me several options of places to go. Even though I thought Beaches, Ocho Rios could of been better, I will definitely book through Fayette again when planning our next trip.
