Mark - Amazing Time at Beaches Turks and Caicos! We just returned from six days and had a fantastic time. Me, my husband, and two children (ages 1 and 3) stayed in a Parrot Cay one-bedroom honeymoon suite on the ground floor with an ocean view. It is one of the lower (less expensive) categories of rooms (and is in the Caribbean village) but was still really nice -- clean, well-equipped, and well located. Camp Sesame had great activities for our toddler -- we especially liked the character breakfast, the nightly show, and the walk arounds with different characters. Our one-year-old didn't like the nursery, but I don't think that was the fault of any caregivers (he was just bored with the infants, as he was at the high-end of that age category). Food was great -- we especially liked the seafood at Barefoot by the Sea (lunch and dinner); sit-down breakfast at Schooner's (a nice break from buffets); pub lunch at Cricketer's (nice pub ambiance, too); and an adults-only dinner at Le Petit Chateau (fantastic food, especially the beef tenderloin). Some chairs were reserved pretty early at pools and the beach, but we always found something in the shade without going out too early. Beach and ocean are beautiful; also a good variety of beach activities (hobies, kayaks, etc.) included. Two mornings there was a severe shortage of towels at the pools and beach, but other than that, I have no complaints and a lot of kudos. Beaches made a fantastic family vacation.
