One of the Internet's Best Travel Secrets

The Club Med Punta Cana was completely full and so there was no chance of an upgrade. It really was fine though because we hardly spent any time in the room and the basic room is quite comfortable. We were lucky in our room location as it was very centrally located near all the activities and main buildings. The Scheibers were in a room almost at the end of the resort which was not as convenient. The food was very good and the the entertainment in the evening was the best we have seen at any Club Med. We always have a good time at Club Med but the experience is also dependent on the mix of people at the village, the chief of the village and the staff. The head of the village was outstanding and the staff really respected him and they in turn were great. The club had a better mix of US and French guests this time and that made it more fun for the kids (last time it was 80-90% French ) Glynnis
